Test - Lubuagan Products

Hand-woven fabric Brgy. Mabilong is said to be the center of hand weaving in Lubuagan. This is where most of the Kalinga-designed, hand-woven fabric you buy at the malls comes from.

Ask the host to take you to a weaver at Brgy. Mabilong and be amazed at how they make the intricately designed patterns from memory.

Making hand-woven fabrics is one of the primary sources of income for the women of Lubuagan. Buy a fabric or two and you’ll not only help the weavers, but get the fabrics at a very low price, too.

Hand-woven soft brooms – sturdier from the ones you get from

the malls, local market, or the ones you get from Baguio; the Lubuagan-made, industrial strength brooms have sturdy handles and tightly-bound bristles.

I’ve been using Lubuagan-made soft brooms for almost a year and they still look new. Yes, I’m promoting them.

Beaded necklaces and other antiques – the Lubuagan people have used beaded necklaces and antique China as heirloom ever since the Chinese bartered with them centuries ago.

The Lubuagan folks value these heirlooms. But every now and then, there are a few who sell these items when in need. If you’re into antiques, you can chance upon good ones here.

Residents of Brgy. Dangoy make plastic versions of the beaded necklace and sell them for a very affordable price. It’s ideal for souvenir and pasalubong.
